It's been a while since we've given our blog some love, but it has been all for a good reason! 2013 was an incredible year for us, which got even busier towards the end. We easily had our best year of business, and just didn't get the time to share it all on here.
We were lucky enough to receive sponsorship from Red Stripe for a four episode run of KOKO Presents in 2013, which we have now come to the end of. We had some amazing guests during this run, which included We Are Scientists, Splashh, Submotion Orchestra, and also Emmy The Great and Ash's Tim Wheeler.
Below is the final episode with Red Stripe. We return this year with a special KOKO Presents episode with BBC Introducing, featuring The Bohicas and Baby Strange.
We spent most of December doing a heap of jobs, notably some exciting projects coming out of a recent visit to Tel Aviv, Israel, with our friends King Lizard. On top of this, we also shot a short studio documentary with Beasts, when they were recording two tracks with music producer, Dan Weller.
We capped off our year with a nice quick production with The Script, who we filmed and edited their Christmas Video for this year with our friends, HOOKD. They are lovely chaps who we've had the pleasure of having them star in some of our work with The Rock 'N' Roll Diaries.
2013 has not only been about us, but we have also extended our skills to work with some talented people. We have had the pleasure to spend some of the second half of the year doing a few jobs with Mahogany Media Group, made popular by the "Mahogany Sessions" on YouTube. We edited together some great videos for Samsung: Mixmag at Shoreditch Boxpark and The British Red Cross in association with photographer Paul Conroy.
Now its 2014, we have plenty of really exciting work to share with you, even just for the month of January! We promise to keep this updated more often and will share with you more of our upcoming work.
