Young Romance - Pale

Back at the beginning of the year we made a new music video for the Kingston duo, Young Romance for their single 'Pale', which will be released as a limited 7" pressing in March.

As far as the styling for the video the duo went for a throwback of looks, and tried to compliment the song with an old VHS feel. We wanted to test our styles as see what we could do differently with this as a performance video. Matthew Connell gathered royalty free stock footage and edited together a sequence that was projected onto the band during the performance. Then to add to the vintage and almost glitchy look, Matthew Hoare played the finished sequence through a an old Sony Trinitron CRT Monitor from the 80's and filmed the monitors screen, to seal the look and resulting in the finished product.

Since making the music video the track has been gathering pace with premieres on sites such as The Line Of Best Fit, and even being spun on Steve Lemacq's BBC 6 Music show.

Yesterday, after a few weeks of scheduling and PR work around the duo, the video was premiered on the Beat.

'LET US DOWN' now available on T-shirts!

Yesterday we received a Tweet from the Hoaxx guys, explaining they have designed some T-shirts from the music video we made for them.

They have made two designs from the video, and we think they look amazing! At the low price of £.11.99 that is an absolute bargain to look cool in the sun.

You can purchase them from here.
