BEASTS - Isle of Wight Festival (2014)

Here is the latest instalment of our Summer Series of festival videos with Beasts. This time we spent the whole weekend with them over at the Isle of Wight Festival which was headlined by Biffy Clyro, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Kings Of Leon.

Beasts found themselves being the penultimate band on the Hard Rock Rising stage on Saturday evening only to be followed on stage by our video buddies Bleech! In this episode we see how the band utilise their down time traveling down on Friday meant we could make the most of the weekend, and certainly made it a more relaxing affair for the Band, Crew, and Friends.

With plenty of sun tan lotion, fairground rides and a lot of Rock and Roll to enjoy, Please enjoy our latest video below!

Beasts - The Great Escape Festival (2014)

During The Great Escape Festival we found ourselves multi-tasking. Not only were we filming interviews for Raw Meat, we also regrouped with Beasts at the festival to film another documentary/fly on the wall styled video similar to the recording sessions when Beasts teamed up with Dan Weller.

With the added element of touring which will be the first in a series of festival videos this summer with Beasts, we headed down to Brighton and filmed which was their first festival appearance of 2014.

The format see's us showcase very briefly at the start what Brighton is about, and we filmed through the soundcheck under the watchful eye of Daniel P Carter of Radio 1, their pre-show warm ups, the set itself and interviewed the lads about the progress the band has been making since being in the studio recording 'Annie' and 'What You Want' back in December.

Take a look at the video link below, hope you enjoy it!

Beasts - In session with Dan Weller

Back in December 2013 we first started our working-relationship with Beasts. They invited us down to Proper Records, to document their studio time with the legendary Dan Weller. They were recording two tracks, 'What You Want' and 'Annie' which we later made the audio only video for.

We spent 3 days with the lads, filming the magic throughout the recording process. We utilised this opportunity to create a more filmic piece of content. The studio location was fantastic, with wall to wall shelving of vinyls and CD's, giving us good selection of visuals to display in the documentary. We would love to hear your thoughts.

Beasts 'Annie' (Audio Only)

Tom hanging around

A new band we have been working with lately is the Twickenham three piece, Beasts

They've certainly put themselves out there already having played support slots for the likes of Miles Kane and Dinosaur Pile-Up.

We were in the studio with the lads back in December 2013 filming them record a couple of new tracks with the legendary Dan Weller from SikTh, who has produced albums for Enter ShikariYoung Guns and many more! The short studio documentary with Beasts will be released later in the year.

Since then we have filmed a experimental/audio only video for their track "Annie" the day after it was exclusively Premiered on BBC Radio 1's Rock Show with Daniel P Carter.

The idea for this video was rather simple, we got each of the lads down to the studio in Soho and got them to hang upside down in a very simple and possibly unusual companion to the track! We certainly had a lot of fun shooting this! The video was exclusively released on Art Rocker.

What are your thoughts?
